Who we are
AILB (“we”, “us”) is a software-as-a-service platform operated by Kamran Latif (Lahore, Pakistan) that lets service businesses (“customers”) provide automated, AI-assisted communication and appointment booking to their own clients (“end users”) over WhatsApp, using the official WhatsApp Business Platform by Meta. Data we process
For our customers (businesses): account details (name, email, phone), business configuration (services, providers, prices, schedules, FAQs), billing records, and usage analytics.
For end users (on behalf of our customers): WhatsApp phone number and profile name, message content exchanged with the business, appointment details, and the preferences needed to serve the conversation (such as language). For this data we act as a processor; the business you are messaging is the controller.
How we use it
- To operate the service: answering messages, booking appointments, sending confirmations, reminders and follow-ups the business has configured.
- To let businesses manage their conversations, leads, bookings and analytics.
- To secure, debug and improve the platform.
- For billing and account administration.
Message content may be processed by third-party AI model providers (such as Anthropic) solely to generate replies. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.
Data sharing
We share data only with the sub-processors required to run the service: Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform message delivery), our cloud hosting providers, AI model providers (reply generation), and analytics tooling in aggregate form. Each business's data is strictly isolated from every other business on the platform.
Website analytics
This website uses PostHog (US cloud) to understand aggregate usage — pages viewed and buttons clicked. It stores a small identifier in your browser for this purpose. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell this data, and no WhatsApp message content is ever involved.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest. Access is role-based and logged. WhatsApp message delivery uses Meta's encrypted infrastructure.
Retention & your rights
We retain data for as long as the business account is active or as required for legal and billing purposes. End users may request access, correction or deletion of their data by contacting the business they messaged, or us at kamranlatifarain@gmail.com; we will respond within 30 days. Businesses may export or request deletion of their tenant data at any time.
Opting out of automated messages
End users can stop automated messages at any time by replying “STOP” or asking to talk to a person — a human takes over the conversation immediately.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be notified to customers by email or WhatsApp.
